Nine nights from San Pedro across the Bolivian altiplano to the largest salt flat on Earth, with an acclimatisation plan built day by day.
The big one. After three nights adapting in San Pedro you cross into Bolivia at 4,480 metres and sleep one night high at Laguna Colorada, then drop to a hotel built from salt on the edge of the Salar de Uyuni. Two guides, two vehicles and oxygen travel with you the whole way.
