Seven nights at the lodge in San Pedro, climbing a little higher each day: salt lagoons, flamingos, two altiplano lakes and El Tatio at dawn.
The journey most guests start with. You sleep every night at 2,407 metres and go higher only by day, so by the morning of the geysers your body has had five days to adapt. Nothing is rushed: one big outing a day, lunch in the field, back to the pool by late afternoon.

San Pedro de Atacama
Land at Calama, then 100 km by road to the lodge. Water, shade and a slow walk through the village.
